Situated inside the Norman-Swabian castle is an interesting itinerary through prehistory and the history of Vibo: prehistoric remains, art objects, objects from everyday and religious use during the Greek (including a collection of photos of the ancient Greek walls) and Roman periods, as well as private collections.
The prize piece of the collection is a thin sheet of gold from the 6th century B.C. that belonged to a tomb on which is written an Orphean text (there are only five others like it in the world).
