Today, after various up and downs, the region’s wine industry has a very prolific and favourable situation thanks to the great variety of climates, environment and soil, together with hard work and experience that Sicily has to offer. Among the strong and sweet wines, we have the famous Marsala and Passito from Pantelleria; some local wines such as Moscati from Pantelleria, Noto and Siracuse, Cerasuolo from Vittoria and Alcamo from Cielo are also worthy of note.
