Dominated by the broad high plain of Pania di Corfino, a natural reserve since 1980, it owes its good fortune to its natural disposition as an ideal place and perfect habitat for large wildlife, such as various types of deer and moufflon for their repopulation of the territory. An uncontaminated place, within easy access from San Romano in Garfagnana, it is visited by thousands of tourists throughout the year. There are typical gastronomic stands offering the simple yet flavourful cuisine of the Garfagnana zone.
