La Romanella guesthouse is made up of two buildings: one of recent construction and the other a completely refurbished older one. There are five rooms (for a total of 16 beds), all tastefully furnished with respect for the rural characteristics of the area. The guesthouse is located at the foot of the Matese zone in a panoramic position on a hill overlooking the Matese valley. Just a few minutes from the Campitello Matese ski area, the natural environment is uncontaminated and rich of vegetation, offering a nature holiday combined with good food.
For our guests we have a rural-style dining room where it is possible to enjoy our cooking which is inspired by spontaneous simplicity. We also have a fireplace room where warmth and simplicity highlight the room’s special characteristics, and a labyrinth, where careful attention to details has created a unique environment.

La Romanella is in a strategic position: just 3 km from the SS 17 road, the main artery through Molise from Naples to Termoli, it is easy to reach the historical spots of the area such as the amphitheatre and archaeological excavations of Altilia, the theatre of Pietrabbondante, Castel S. Vincenzo, Boiano, Isernia, Agnone, Campobasso, as well as the naturalistic sites of the Matese massif, Liscione lake, and the cattle-tracks; excursions and sports activities.
