Cascina Papa Mora is a Piedmontese farm dating from the beginning of the 20th centuary. It has been bought back to life with love and is an ideal place for those who are enthousiasts of rural tourism. It’s name comes from a great grandfather who was known as “Papa d’la Mura” and built the farm house. Located on the hill, 300 m. above sea level, Bucco sisters who own the house favour mixed tourism, Iitalian and foreign. Visitors can find here first and foremost total tranquility and privacy, as well as moments of diversions for adults and childrens: table tennis, safe green areas in front of the farm house, a lovely lake, petanque grounds, mountain bike, swimming pool, horse riding and horse trekking, a reading or music room which can be used as a stage or for small meetings. The restaurant offers home made bread cooked inside a wood oven, anchovies in armond sauce, salty cakes, peperoni cream puffs, tagliatelle and agnolotti pasta, gnocchi served with verious sources, typical English deserts such as trifle and cheese cake. A meal costs about 23 euros without wine. The certified organic vegetables and fruit of the farm are made into jams and preserves, in sauces for boiled meats and other yummy products. The farm is not far from Alba and from Asti.
