Il Poderino is an authentic, agricultural farm, immersed in the green countryside at an altitude of about 100 mts a.s.l The 7 hectares are for the most part cultivated with olive trees, and in part forest. For this reason there is a place on the farm to purchase an excellent extra virgin olive oil. Whoever arrives at the farm will be able to stay in an antique stone house, restored and furnished for “agriturism”. There are three simple and inviting double bedrooms with bath available to the guests, all with antique furnishings in the Tuscan style, and the possibility to have a good breakfast in the morning.

You can stop at the Poderino for dinner near the fire during winter, or in summer in the garden under the arbor, surrounded by olive covered hills in our countryside, illuminated by moonlight. Our cuisine begins with Tuscan traditions, using the products from our farm (olive oil, wine and vinsanto) and enriched with the traditional products of the area, delicious grilled meats, seasonal vegetables and legumes (spelt and beans from Sorana), chestnuts and chestnut flour, asparagus (for which Pescia is famous) porcini mushrooms and “ovoli”: all of these well distributed over the whole year!
With all of this “Goodness”, a touch of fantasy, newness and personalization in the age old recipes isn’t missing. The local cheeses are delicious (pecorino, baccellone and ricotta) refined with honey, jams and fruit mustards. The desserts are all homemade and if sometimes the look betrays you, the aroma never does.
Besides all of this, for sport lovers, we have a swimming pool with a view of all of the Valdinievole and a small snack-bar, four tennis courts at 500 mts and an equestrian center at two kilometres.

An ideal starting point for walking excursions along the Valeriana hiking paths or for reaching Collodi (3 kms) to visit the Pinocchio park and the 17th century garden of Villa Garzoni.
Nearby, at no more than 30 kms, are the art cities of Florence, Lucca and Pisa.
