WITH CAR:

Highway exit is next the  tollbox FLORENCE SOUTH. Immediately on the right after the payment of the toll box  follow  the indication Siena-Greve. Arriving at  Grassina: hundred meters after the main square of the town (P. zza Garibaldi), on the left side of the roadway, follow the indication San Pole- Figline Valdarno.  The  pass the small units of Capannuccia and Quarate and after a short time, at  two kilometers before San Pole, you will find  the local road  that climbs up to Monte Masso..  In case road signs are not clear , take  reference the  long wall of recent construction on the left side, while on the right you will see  the milestone stone 13.  The local   road is paved , for  the first meters and then its stoney, follow it  for about a kilometer: on the right hand a road will be seen with a  sign "Podero Albereto" and  enter into the  beginning of the private road.
