Standing along the crest of a small hill, the house is flanked by the English Park and looks out over a wide valley with a view of the Alps in the background. Bencontenta is a traditional Venetian farmhouse on the estate of Frassanelle, situated on the border of the Euganean hills, only 20 km south of Padova. The house looks out onto the park of Frassanelle and the Euganean hills. It is surrounded by a private, delimited garden of 6000 m2. The garden has been carefully planted with a herb garden, roses, lilacs, tibetan geraniums, iris and calendula. The trees are poplars, walnut and hazelnut, as well as a series of fruit trees (fig, cherry and apple). The elegant farm buildings of the estate date back to the 17th century. What used to be granarys, storerooms and living quarters of the employees have now been turned into comfortable and well-equipped apartments. These four loftlike apartments are composed of a single studio with mezzanine. The apartments are located within the tower of the main farm building. This entails two flights of stairs. All four are composed of a single studio flooded with light by 2 or 3 large windows which look out either onto the historical park of the estate or the courtyard articulated by a series of classical columns. Each room consists of a living-dining room with kitchenette and adjoining bathroom. The bedrooms (double or singles, as per request) are located on the mezzanine, with adjoining second WC - except for Lillium which only has one bathroom on the ground floor.
